Khrystyna Marriott

Khrystyna Marriott is the designer and maker behind the brand Ruby Robin, based in West Cork. Her handcrafted jewellery is designed to allow the quiet beauty of nature to shine, to stir the imagination, inspire wonder in small things and encapsulate a microcosm of forgotten memories.

She makes her jewellery using a range of strange and beautiful curiosities, found in the woods and on the mountain sides, combed from the windswept beaches and picked in the wild meadows. Each piece is infused with its own story, inspired by the quiet beauty of the nature and our relationship with the wild world around us.

Khrystyna’s pieces are meticulously handcrafted from start to finish with real flowers and plants which she gathers, grows and dries before encapsulating them in bio-resin—an environmentally friendly alternative to traditional epoxy resins—thus preserving the plants to last a lifetime.

She also works with glass, polymer clay, bronze, sterling silver and 14k gold. Khsrystyna’s work has featured in Skona Hem, Cloth, Lost at E minor, The Dainty Squid, Catraca Livre, El Republica, Bored Panda, the Irish Examiner and more. Rarity is a muted mauve inspired by Khystyna’s work that will stir the imagination and inspire wonder.
