About the Colour

The powerful, moody and mesmerising Atlantic Ocean – where it meets the Dingle Peninsula – surges with colour, life and spirit. Running Tide is a dynamic turquoise, unique to Carol Cronin, captured in her amazing seascape paintings.

Carol Cronin

Originally from Wicklow and now based in Kerry, Irish artist Carol Cronin’s seascapes capture the power and ever changing moods of the Atlantic Ocean and the rugged West Kerry coast. Having lived in The Netherlands for 10 years, Carol moved to Kerry in 2002, spending the summer living and working on the Great Blasket Island before moving to Dún Chaoin. She held several independent sell-out shows before showing her work with both the Greenlane Gallery (Dingle and Paris) and The Killarney Art Gallery. In 2005 Carol opened her own Gallery in Green Street Dingle, exclusively showing her own work. Her time spent in Dún Chaoin influenced her painting enormously. Carol has exhibited in New York and her work is in the collections of Jimmy Deenihan TD Minister for Arts, Heritage, and the Gaeltacht, and John Warner (American Museum of Art). Her work has been featured on RTE and the Discovery channel USA. Carol was an invited artist at the Arte Utile festival in Sicily and her work has been commissioned by others The National Archives of the Netherlands and University College of Cork. The colour Running Tide is captured in Carol's seascape paintings.

Eggshell is for interior and exterior use. For longer durability, gloss is recommended for exterior use. Its discreet low-sheen finish will give woodwork and metal a profound richness.

Enhanced Matt

Gloss is for interior and exterior use. The high gloss finish is exceptionally hard-wearing and easy to clean, giving long lasting protection to wood and metal surfaces.

Satin is for interior and exterior use. For longer durability, gloss is recommended for exterior use. It’s ideal for woodwork and metal surfaces where a lower sheen and easy-clean finish is desired.

Subtle Sheen
